Try disconnecting the negatve cablefrom the battery for about a half hour the ecm may have to reset. I left Relpace negative cable disconnected overnight but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem. The remote control stopped working I have re-programed it, but it won't work anymore. My mechanic says the problem is not Mitsubishi Lancer Cargo Mk1 2003-2008 Banner Starting Bull 55Ah Battery Replace to the ignition switch, although it all started when it was replaced.
I did notice though that he did not disconnected the battery negative cable when performing the switch replacement I don't know if it has anything to do with it.
